Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Truthbased, the service at truthbased.ai, operated by TeliportME SARL, 22 Rue de Boevange, 8707 Useldange, Luxembourg (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, buying a plan or using the service you agree to them. Questions: hello@truthbased.ai.

The service

Truthbased reads web content you designate, extracts candidate facts with quoted evidence, detects contradictions, holds facts for human review, and serves the approved set through public pages (your truth page, llms.txt, entitymap.json) and the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Features may evolve; we will not remove core functionality your plan depends on without notice.

Your account and content

  • You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials safe.
  • You must have the right to crawl and reproduce the content you point Truthbased at — your own site, or content you are authorised to process.
  • You retain all rights to your content. You grant us the licence needed to store, process, and serve it as the product does — nothing more. We do not use your content to train models.
  • API keys you add are used only to run operations you or your team trigger; the corresponding provider charges are yours.

Plans and payments

  • Prices are in US dollars and shown on the pricing page or the offer page you buy from. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
  • Monthly and yearly plans, and the Freshness add-on, renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel any time from Account → Billing; you keep what you paid for until the end of the current period.
  • Each plan’s limits (websites, pages, credits, people, workspaces, how often your site is re-read) are the ones shown where you bought it. Daily limits on automated runs exist to keep the service healthy for everyone and apply to every plan.
  • Charges from the AI provider whose key you add (OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, OpenRouter) are between you and that provider. We add nothing to them.

Refunds

Lifetime plans, upgrades and top-ups can be refunded in full within 30 days of payment: write to hello@truthbased.ai from the address on the account. A refunded purchase is removed from the account. Monthly and yearly renewals are not refunded for the part of a period already started; cancel before the next renewal instead. None of this limits the rights consumer law gives you where you live.

Lifetime plans

  • A lifetime plan is one payment for the plan’s limits, for as long as we operate Truthbased. There are no renewal fees for the plan itself; add-ons you choose, like Freshness, are billed separately.
  • It belongs to the account that bought it. It cannot be resold, transferred or split between accounts. Client work for others is allowed on plans that include client workspaces.
  • We may improve or change features over time. We will not reduce the limits you bought.
  • If we ever stop operating Truthbased, we will tell account owners by email at least 90 days before, and give you a way to download your confirmed facts.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Truthbased to crawl sites you have no right to access, to publish content that is unlawful or deceptive, to misrepresent another brand as your own, or to probe or disrupt the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

AI-generated content

Extraction, synthesis, and inspection are performed by large language models. Truthbased is built to ground every claim in quoted source evidence and to gate publication behind your review — but you are the editor of record: verify facts before approving them, and treat published output as your own statement about your brand.

Availability and liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted availability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Termination

You may delete your workspace or account at any time; deletion is permanent. We may terminate accounts that materially breach these terms, including by reselling a lifetime plan or abusing the service, with notice where practicable. Payments for an account closed for a breach are not refunded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and disputes belong to the courts of Luxembourg City, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced to account owners by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date is acceptance.
