Why this matters

People now ask ChatGPT, Claude and Google's AI about creators before they follow, buy or hire. "Who is this creator?" "What do they charge?" "Are they legit?"

AI answers from memory, and that memory is often old or wrong. It may get your rates wrong, mix you up with someone else, or say nothing at all.

Truthbased fixes that. It finds the facts about you on your own website, lets you check them, and puts them where AI tools look. The next time someone asks AI about you, it has the right answer to give.

You can stop after any step and come back later. Nothing is lost.

Step 1. Sign up and add your site

  1. Go to truthbased.ai/signup. Sign up with your email or with Google.
  2. Type your website address. You don't need the https:// part.
  3. You can skip the AI key and the quiz for now.

Step 2. Let it read your pages

  1. On Sources, pick how many pages to read. 15 is a good start.
  2. Press Crawl. That just means "read my pages".
  3. Wait a few minutes. We email you when it is done, so you can make a coffee.

Step 3. Check your facts

  1. Open Truths in the left menu.
  2. Press Review. You see one fact at a time, with the words from your site it came from.
  3. Press Yes if it is right. Press No if it is wrong, and type what is right.

Step 4. Add your AI key

  1. Make a key at OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity or OpenRouter. A key is a long password that lets Truthbased use your AI account. This guide shows where to find it.
  2. In Truthbased, go to Account, then AI keys. Paste it and save.

Step 5. See what AI says about you now

  1. Open Memory vs. Truth in the left menu.
  2. Pick a question a fan or a brand would ask about you, or type your own.
  3. Press Run the comparison.

Step 6. Publish your truth page

  1. Open Settings, then the Truth page tile.
  2. Show us the website is yours. Copy the short line we give you and paste it into your site's settings, in the box called something like "custom code" or "site verification". Most site builders have one.
  3. Press Check now, then Publish.

Step 7. Show it off

  1. Open Connections, then the Badge tile.
  2. Copy the line and paste it into your site's footer.
  3. Add your truth page link to your link-in-bio and your social profiles too.

Step 8. Ask what to do next

  1. Open Overview.
  2. Press How am I doing?

You're done

Your facts are checked, public and easy for AI to find. You are no longer leaving it to AI to guess.

From here, Truthbased re-reads your site on its own. It emails you when something on your site changes, and when an AI gets you wrong. A few minutes when that happens is all it takes.
